Friends don't let friends buy Acer.. their RMA and support is just terrible.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Done :)

One email to the Acer escalation address and they come back with this.

Ironically the store I bought it from gave me the email address to deal with Acer myself.

For that reason I will not recommend Playtech to anyone. Why couldn't they deal with Acer for me? Since my warranty is with Playtech.

I would not recommend Acer to anyone either, but Playtech even less so after this experience...

Good result in the end though, thanks for the help :)

Could not agree more.. Playtech and Acer are both terrible companies.
