More importantly...

Why is anyone dumping an Xbox? Which generation of Xbox!?!

I'm guilty of that. Friend had a 1st gen Xbox360 die due to red ring of death. He just bought a new one. And donated the old one to me to destroy. I wired up 380VDC to its 12V power rail.

Unfortunately it didn't make anything that you could call an explosion. It didn't even catch on fire.

On a more serious note, I have way too much E waste that I need to get rid of. Mostly various old circuit boards. Some of which are handy as a source of electronic components. But there is not much that is worth ratting from old motherboards and similar.

Friends and family often use me as their method of getting rid of old appliances and similar.

Maybe you should have crushed it with a Li battery under it that you short circuit?

Ive got a very bloated cellphone battery sitting outside that I need to get rid of. I guess the recyling isnt the place for it.

Nah, Just make sure its in a bin full of paper then douse it with some diesel!

Don't do that... take it to an e waste but then again it may explode in your car, or hand when you pick it up? What do you do?

Put it in an old xbox and throw it into a recycling truck commando style and watch it explode.
