dt:

anyone else been able to find if its coming to pc or is it xbox only? I dont have an xbox.. but used to like the game in my teen years

According to Polygon:

Update 6/10: Microsoft reached out to Polygon to clarify Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition’s release platforms. The new edition of the game is only coming to PC. It’s unclear if or when Microsoft will put Age of Empires 2 on a console. We’ve updated the article to remove any mention of a Xbox version of the game.

well that makes more sense.. it was a bit confusing having that big xbox logo on the promotional video

RTS with a control pad is so awkward..

voicetech:

I played the original a lot back in 2000, but now usually only 3-4 games per year when friends are back over Christmas.

Lately a bunch of friends and I have been doing a few games a week.

Nothing serious, varying levels of skills. In the pro scene would probably fail!
