Mate, drop me a text and lets have a chat. I got a note from a guy last night who only wants the BMW wheel, so I can probably change my listing before anyone bids.

I'll send  you a PM.

let your auction run mate, it will probably sell for a good price, a (almost new) Fanatec Clubsport V2.5 Base and Carbon wheel

sold for $2,360 a couple days ago, which is more than the actual price to buy it with duty/gst/shipping from OZ new i believe

they also had it listed on the FB group

realistically i would only buy second hand if the offer was too good to refuse, so see what you can get from trademe first,

if it doesnt sell send me a PM

judging by your rig in the background in the pics its probably had some pretty serious use ;)

also im wondering if the ferrari stickers would make me a much slower driver for this year? ;)

Hahaha! The ferrari stickers have definitely suckered me by about a second a lap. Knew I should've gone with the Redbull ones instead!

It's a kinda funny story - I've broken my wrists a few times during my RL racing back in South Africa, and the only way I manage on the sim for hours at a time is to run the FFB really low (like between 2.9 and 4.9 in game, compared to recommended at 14 or so). Since coming to NZ, I've only ever run on VR on a NextLevel f-GT rig, but decided 2020 is the yer for change. During lockdown I went across to an 8040 rig, and across to 27inch triples about a month ago. Needless to say, the 8040 is awesome, but i'm battling my ass off with the triples - Just cant get comfortable with them like I was in VR, despite the massive improvement in graphics.

I've also been real surprised at the prices that the Fanatec stuff has sold at recently - There is obviously some serious love and devotion to the brand, so lets see how things progress! If it turns out sour for whatever reason, ill drop you a note!

i also suspect Ferrari stickers may also cause you to randomly spin around for no reason during races unless you are born in Monaco

where did you buy that rig from and what games are you playing?

I bought the rig from a guy in Auckland who had got real frustrating at the lack of stock during lock down, so grabbed the design off the simlab website, and ordered all his own components to make it up. Problem is that the supplier made him order 3 of everything! Bad for him, good for me. He even supplied us with all the stuff to go integrated triple screen. Then I just grabbed a second hand seat and rails off FB marketplace.
