Down in nelson Iv found gaming isn't really a big business, most gamers have their own rigs so you'll only really attract out of towner's unless you manage to advertise well (advertising? what's that?).
As a internet cafe you'll need to focus on the larger market of tourists and trying to attract locals to give you a baseline income for off-season. Well set-up printing & helpful staff is a good way to keep them loyal.
Having games on the pc's is a good idea (easy 15-$30 ea when they pop in), just don't focus on it as a pure gamers paradise or it will fail, gamer discounts are good though.
Running basic computing courses is also a good & steady income.
Photoshop, adobe suite etc are high cost, low return programs so don't get them unless your near a uni.
Public toilet = hell, you'll close it in a month.
