TV1 are doing the same thing or is TV3 and One working together on this? As there is a request for wow players in the Auckland area only for a documentary in GPforums

I still play wow but now log in maybe twice a week instead of the everyday thing.

I think the media should just mind their own bussiness, last thing wow players need is a media review on wow especally NZ television who have no idea when it comes to mmos.  What's the bet we will look bad in the documentary.

I though WoW was common enough now that it was more of a mainstream thing? With over 10 million players worldwide it's not exactly a geek niche. Does anyone know how many NZ players there are?

not too late I suppose? Then again, I hope TV3 doesn't make a hatchet job out of it.

Reminds me of "Second Skin" which screened at last year's Film Fest. It was partly accurate, although it did give the anti-gaming crusader being interviewed a little too much screen time.

BTW my primary has finally hit the magic number.

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell
