Now that I've got my head around the Radeon numbers scheme, I know what I want a bit more clearly. I have decided on a passive card, as I am aiming to make my computer quieter. I know this is a large limitation because only some cards are made with a passive model. I am currently looking at the HD4650 or the HD5450. The 5450 being newer has newer technology, but the 4650 is a more powerful card. I can't really decide on which I would prefer. Unforetuneately these two cards seem to be the only passive cards around my price range.
Also, where can I get power adapter to adapt either SATA or molex to 6-pin PCI-E? I had a look on the DSE website and also Jaycar as recommended but I couldn't see any.
