Kyanar: Grr. I have the collector's edition installed, mocking me. To activate it, I need to log into B.net which I can't do because I lost my authenticator tag! Dammit!
Now to wait for Blizzard support to call me.

chiefie: I never bothered with it, in fear of suck can happen...
chiefie:xpd: The CE has SC, BW and SC2. ;)
I think @Kaos36 meant when all three species' pack are out... The next two are Zerg and Protoss specific storylines.
No doubt there'll be like LOTR style, one collector's edition for each "episode" then there's ultimate battlechest edition for all 3 species...

chiefie: If I may boldly say, I doubt Blizzard will patch it so it can be LAN... the method they're patching and delivering the client is all pretty much obvious that they model it after WoW. So you go on Battle.net to register the game key, this set a token activated on your Battle.net account and say what games is active and valid to play.
With client has to be connected to Battle.net to authenticate its presence with the server, that will reduce the piracy.
Good thing with this is, if you lost the game DVD, you just download it from Battle.net server. And the same will be for Diablo III and SCII two other episodes.
