mattRSK: so I can try before I buy!

Try before you buy..?

This is Gran Turismo we are talking about here..

Yeah it is, but the prologue they released was bloody awful. Hopefully they have spent all this time improving the quality of the game.

Absolutely - with out a doubt the quality for GT5 is going to be very very good. And yes Prologue lacked all the tracks and cars, but in saying it is what it is.. a prologue to GT5. So it was never intentionally going to be a full game as such.

Indeed. I am really looking forward to this release, looking forward to a change from modern warfare 2 lol.

Haha nice - I had to leave MW2 unfortunately.. It was sucking up to much of my time, but I reached level 70 before I gave up. Wasn't keen on doing all that prestiege malarkey though.

I was happy enough to aquire the AK47 and reach Commader - Ohh how I miss the kill streaks I pulled off on free-for-all back then..

I reached 2nd Prestige, then gave up, too many n00bs and too much time taken up.  Ended up selling it for almost as much as I paid, only a $6 loss.  Then got RDR with the money, which I've almost got 100% in, just in time for GT5, although I hear Black Ops is coming out soon too?  Also need to finish off Bad Company 2 before GT5 arrives

cgrew: Haha sounds like you won't be having much of a summer with all those games you have lined up myndlyz.

As for wheels? I haven't really thought about getting a driving wheel to be honest. I might actually lash out and get a real hardout one haha.

Do you know of any really good branded ones coming out with full GT5 compatibility?

The G25 and G27 are still the best ones out in the sub 500 price range, think the G27 was originally packaged with Prologue, so hopefully they'll do a GT5 bundle for a similar price, still heaps to spend though, otherwise a force feedback one for about $180 will do fine :)

The Driving Force GT was the Prologue one, $180 round the place, if you can find it, hopefully they'll upgrade or release a Driving Force GT5 model

Cheers for the info on the driving wheels mate - I will definitely keep my eyes on the look out for a GT5 release model just incase Sony do decide to bring one out for GT5.

Nice one - I wish I got into RDR when it came out but I just don't have the time to play these massive games. I stiil need to finish Assassin's Creed 2 and Wip3out HD Fury before I can play anything else.. lol
