I had a play with this a couple of weeks back at a Sony demo night; it is awesome! I can't wait till they release the pistols and other addons. They were so much fun to play with.
I'd imagine JB would be best place to grab the Move! gear as they'll match anyone else's price (some online stores too!).
AceVPD: Me too. Will try the demo's before buying any games
Going by the reviews on gamespot and IGN the best Move games to get is the sports championship and the EyePet.. (Probably won't invest in the pet game myself)
The rest are crap apparently.. Especially that kung fu rider game and also the shooting one.
Initial impressions:
It seems to be very accurate but the limited time I had playing withe demo's there was nothing that really stood out as awesome.
Move Sports: The table tennis was quite fun, two player would have been good. Frisbie not so much fun. Didn't try any others
Tumble was quite cool, moving blocks in a 3D space.
Couldn't really get the hang of the shooting game, a cross-hair would have helped (or did I miss it)
Start the party looked like it would be fun for the kids. 2 mini games to try. Fly swotting and painting
Couldn't get Tiger Woods to work with the Move, couldn't get passed the calibration part, which you need to do for all games
Also could get Sketch to start either. Didn't try for too long
Eye Pet maybe fun for the kids. Went through a few activities with my 4yr old son but got stuck on a bit where you had to wiggle your non-move hand.
Also painful having to install all the demos to the PS3. Ran out of space a number of times on my 60G PS3. Would have been nice to be able to play them off the disc. Maybe around 20G for all demo's?
Have to say that I was really excited to get it but felt disappointed. Hopefully that will change when I get some more time on it over the weekend
