Run by same guys.... would be easier to have single site with multiple currencies.

CD Wow do this and they are reliable and cheap, ive used them for games and books, the games took 4 days to arrive 1st class mail from Hong Kong, the books 2-3 weeks although they did come from Belgium.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Call me old fashioned, but i generally prefer the box and CD in hand :)

Also, it costs data to download a game online... not everyone has large data caps to do so. And I prefer to deal with a company that dosent use a map of Australia to indicate NZ ;)

Also this is amusing... "Also by the laws you are allowed to have back up copy of your game burned on any medium." - dont think so....

"The CD Key / Serial is sent as a scan of the original retail box. This proves your 100% ownership of the product in any case. The scan is sent by email as well as kept in your orders archive so you can return to it anytime in the future. " - anyone can scan a key... just because I have a scan of a key, does not prove I own the game.

But as I said at the start... maybe Im old fashioned :)

Well although I have not checked out the site yet I'm just gonna say parallel import anyone. Many countries and stores with .co.nz are in fact not really NZ based product providers.

Obviously there's a better and cheaper way to get 90% of internationally available items into NZ these types of places are great.

I saw MightyApe mentioned earlier a lot of their stuff is exactly the same and imported hence why they are able to offer lower prices and prior to NZ release dates legally at that.

If your just talking about PC games why not just get Steam and download them that way they have some really great sales where you can get some of the older games for dirt cheap (for example 2 or 3 weeks back I managed to buy a Might & Magic Pack consisting of Heroes of Might and Magic 5 complete and also Dark Messiah of Might and Magic for a whole $5 USD which with current currency rates worked out at $6.20 try getting that instore for that price).

They also provide digital manuals and all games (well at least the ones I have bought to date) have all come with serial keys.

Please don't think that I am a big fan of Steam and a long time user in fact I have been using them for less than 3 months. They are however a great alternative for PC games at great prices. Especially with the USD being so NZ friendly at the moment.

If your looking for other types of gaming then why not get your games imported if buying sensibly you save money and get the same game donwside is post sales support is a longer process if there's a problem.

Not everyone can afford to pay higher than full price at places like EB Games (not a put down they are often the most expensive place to buy but have generally got great exclusive addons and deals with suppliers) I buy games from them for my xbox, pc games mainly now from Steam and also have used MightyApe a few times too.

Regardless of how you buy there's always pro's and con's.

I have got a couple of games of them a while ago and have had no problem.

found them on TM. With me its all about how fast the game can get to me after payment has shown up. If I pay for a courier post I expect the game to arrive next day after payment has shown up on their end if it takes their courier more than 3 days I never buy from them again. Firstgame never fails for me always on the mark. Mightyape is another but I find MA games too pricey at times.

I like firstgames and have purchased much from them, but I often find Mightyape has the games first and will price match usually. I am a prime ape so postage is free incl Saturday delivery. I used CDWOW and waited 4 months for my cd's and got not ONE reply to my 5 enquiries, I would never consider purchasing from them again.

Will be avoiding CDWOW.. have tried it once and it took 4 months to receive an item that was stated that it was in stock that day, the following day I checked it, it had gone on to back order.

I mostly use mighty ape as they price match managed to get blops for $90 on the week of release.

I would recommend http://www.shopto.net, can take 5-10 days to arrive, but so much cheaper.

Also used to use http://www.find-game.co.uk when in the UK, some sites post overseas some dont.

I buy everything with my CC so if it doesnt turn up I have the protection to get my money back.

I can confirm that nzgameshop and ozgameshop are legit having ordered from both. Delivery time is not too bad. Have a look at the nzgamer.com forums for good reviews of both sites.

This is the ONLY store I use for my gaming purchases. Before nzgameshop I used ozgameshop. Have done for a good year, not once have I had a problem with them and I have always received my game inside a week.

Very reliable. I did once get a smashed case, which they replaced for free with expedited shipping. Got the new case inside 3 days. Game was fine. Seemed the courier was a little reckless with it.

Recommend them, guarantee you wont have any issues with them
