I use kinguin a lot, they have buyer protection, you have to pay a little extra for it though.

Have purchased from G2A a few times without issue.

G2A aren't like the other websites such as GMG in that they purchase the keys in cheap regions and then resell them, compared to GMG who gets the keys from the publishers. It's a more shady way of doing things and the keys aren't as trustworthy - a whole bunch of keys were revoked by Ubisoft earlier this year from g2a. They also bulk buy humble bundle keys at the lowest possible price to sell at higher prices later which goes against what humble bundle stands for and which I don't agree with

If they do buy it from humble bundle, that means they already paid for it and the charity already got paid.

so if humble bundle supports charities, g2a sellers buy from humble bundle, and you buy from the g2a sellers, then via the transitive property you support charities by buying from g2a sellers too.

I don't see the problem in that.

me either, I doubt humblebundle do either really, but they have to please the publishers.

some, maybe, but not all.

G2A is just a market place ( As far as I know there hasn't been any humble bundles that featured GTA 5)

I do know some of the sellers there do are actually small business owners who do get codes wholesale from publishers too but do not have the clout to run their own site.

All publishers need to do is make sure their games are offered to everyone on the planet at the same price, grey market goes away. Simple really.

of course they would. there are sales on, people buy up the keys in bulk, sale ends, people sell the keys they got in a sale for less than retail price, but more than sale price. go to kinguin you always see the front page fulled with "new games" from last weeks sales.

Alien: Isolation seems to be heavily discounted all over the place at the moment. The cheapest I have seen is US12.50 at gamersgate.com

It is clear that publishers are not simply converting the price from US$ to NZ$ when you see the NZ prices all ending in .50 and .99 and various other 9's. So they may be just using the Au prices and just displacing the Au for an NZ as a temporary measure. Once the publishers get their act together I have no doubt that these anomalies where we pay less than the US will swiftly disappear! We have to pay more because ... reasons.

With current AUD and NZD exchange rates, this isn't much difference now as I used to use AUD to purchase content off steam in the U.S, never mind now though.

Up front it's simpler with knowing exactly how much your spending in NZD without getting out a smartphone app or using www.xe.net etc.
I am finding less uses for U.S Paypal now with this and say Global mode for Hulu/Netflix.
