Killhouse: Didnt think much of it, dont really like close combat maps, might be fun every now and then..
Chinatown: Niceee, thats excatly my type of map!
Broadcast: Hollllllly crap! now thats a map!
Creek: that looks like a decent play as well!!
all in all for $15 its a damn good deal, some of the maps that came with the game are getting stale.

Killhouse will be awesome for getting points up and I can't wait to see creek in it's full glory - Massive map!

I do wish they were free but I can see why they'd charge, it is business after all.

Tried to add you again tonight Garvani! Impossible to get ya but yeah... another time it'll happen :)

Is anyone NOT looking forward to GTA4?

Im a little gutted that we get a censored version but dont think its worth my time
to import it when supposably you only miss out on a guy getting a gun put where the sun dont shine!
(i hope thats all we miss, has anyone heard any different?)

My flatmate and i both have it pre-ordered and will be setting up our 37" lcds side by side and taking time off work.

If anyone wants to join me...

wish i had of thought about taking time off work!! damnn..
It does suck that we are getting a censored version, considering it is R18 rated to begin with, we can blame the australians for this one.. In saying that im still getting it, theres not much taken out. we wont know until a few weeks after its released

Depending on how the finances go, I'm looking to have GTA4 on release day aswell!

Too bad I won't have time off work.

I'm not looking forward to GTA4, although I am ordering 2 normal and 3 special editions from amazon for my friends - they're wanting the full uncut version... because we all want to see a gun going where it should never belong right?

Pebbles, I think I ran into you at the pizza event... I was the one saying I could pull off a kids size 12 google shirt. :D!

But yeah.. Guns and sodomy. Interesting mix.

Heres where i got that information, i believe them to be reasonably accurate but ive heard differently
from different sites ie "no getting health from hookers then killing them to get your money back"

Ive got sooo much work on its not funny but my boss grants leave without even looking at the form
so im just taking a couple of days off when its released.

Got a pre-order as well, but just my luck it comes out same day as Henry Rollins will be in Wellington, and I've got my tickets.

Don't have any online games just yet, but feel free to add. Hope to get Burnout and GTA IV sometime soon (would like to upgrade from TV speakers first though).

Warning - watch out for the Metal Gear Online beta.  I downloaded it from the store (750MB) and was then told it needed an update to 1.02.  Unfortunately, to get to 1.02, you have to download 1.01 first.  This is done within the game itself and through the options of P2P (slow) or HTTP (buggy) download.  From what I can tell in the interweb, 1.01 is another 750MB and 1.02 is 10MB.

Personally, I can't be bothered and will wait for it to come out with MGS4.  IMHO, the store should alsways have the latest version on it.

Agreed. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't though (like, Super StardDust HD is the latest version). So I guess it's up to the publishers to give Sony the updated version to put on the site.

Though, if you download Folding@Home (which is from an icon on the XMB) you'll then be prompted to download an update as well!

So did anyone buy COD4 extra maps in the end? I did and enjoyed double xp in the weekend... Haven't had the chance to play killhouse yet but the other three really do have amazing graphics... much moreso than the original ones it seems, which is a tad strange
