Hmmm, have pinged off a couple of email queries to PB Tech and had no reply.

Considering that I'm looking at spending some $$, this isn't a good start from them in terms of getting my business.

Any other retailers worth a look, for an 'off-the-peg' gaming PC? ExtremePC look like they would be OK. Does anyone have experience buying from them?

Unfortunately I have had a similar experience with them in the past.

For online retailers, another two worth looking at are MightyApe (who is a geekzone affiliate I believe?) and Computer Lounge. I bought most of my parts from Computer Lounge last build and would recommend.

I went with Computer Lounge in the end.

Really good customer service, so far. Should be getting my shiny new machine before too much longer.

Noice, hope you enjoy it! What package did you end up getting?

I just had a play-around myself with their configurator tool, it's pretty slick since they revamped their website a couple of months ago.
