I know it has got both rave and bad reviews but I am totally loving Halo Reach at the moment i can't get enough. I have completed the campiagn at least 3 times and are half way through on a solo attempt as well as a co op game on Legendary (hardest level). Add that to the numerous hours i have poured into it in multiplayer.

My stats read that I have spent over 3 full days (nearer to 4) playing this over both modes. I try to get at least 2 or 3 hours play a day if I have the time.

There's been only one other game I have played before that has taken time like this to play and it's a really old pc game called Ghengis Khan where you tried to conquer the world as Ghengis Khan. I played this one once for about 36 hours with only a short break for a few hours sleep.

What about all those old role playing games like Police Quest, Space Quest, Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry??
I played most those and loved them.
Also Doom, Doom2 & Duke Nukem 3D, played all of those against mates with a null modem cable and even dial up connections on the old 14.4k modems.
Spent hours on all of those, bought expansion map packs and even made some of our own.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I'm a PlayStation fanboy so I won't get to play Halo Reach unfortunately but my brother is on the 360 and just recently bought this, he said it's awesome.

A shame that the campaign is a little short though..

Doom was awesome - i.d are currently making Doom 4 for a multi-platform release in 2011.

Not a huge RPG fan but there are heaps of good ones out there.

WOW and Sonic have been mentioned already.

If you want classic old school, how about Streets of Rage for the Megadrive or Alex the Kid :)

Well if your going to mention old RPG's then you could add most of the old D&D one's

Pool of Radience
Death Knight of Krynn
Champions of Krynn

I think those are there names but i am certainly missing quite a few of them.

What about Chaos Brothers for Amiga 500, Bubble Bobble, I think i already mentioned Wings for the Amiga.

Arcade games Jailbreak, Pooyan, Donkey Kong, International Karate, Dig Dug, Rolling Thunder, Commando, Tetris where do you end when it comes to arcade games there is so many. Outbreak, Strider, Dragon Ninja, Stargate, Defender, Double Dragon. Obviously you can't overlook Street Fighter 2 (especially the original with the invisible throw).

Then you also have Commander Keen
