I have Pre-Ordered the game (God Of War: Ragnarok) and after reading the post about it being sold early, I will have to avoid any mention of the name.

What a bummer. Too many times, I have accidentally read a spoiler posted about a game, without even knowing there was a spoiler in the posts on various websites.

Thanks for letting us know about the early release.

I am currently playing A Plague Tale: Requiem, on Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The experience with Cloud Gaming has its drawbacks & advantages.

Best to play through an Ethernet cable, not Wi-Fi, so I found out.

As mentioned earlier, I have been playing Sniper Elite 4 followed by SE5. Totally hooked - very much my type of game. Disappointed when I finished them so I have downloaded all of the DLC levels for each of them - first time I have ever done that for any game.

Usually I play games on a fairly easy setting but these I have enjoyed playing on 'hard' and setting high standards for myself on never getting detected. This can involve quite a lot of saving and re-loading.

Just started God of War on PC, mother of God; what a game. Barely 90 minutes and it's absolutely hooked me

Going to be a mission avoiding God of War spoilers till release.

Also any Destiny 2 players that are good at PVP looking to play Trials of Osiris. Not the best player but looking to get better by playing with better players overtime

I assume you are talking about the original?

A disappointing start to my GOW:R adventure. Got through the main cut scene and a tiny bit of the tutorial before the entire PS5 rebooted. Never seen that happen before. By the time I'd got the kids to bed and tidied up a couple of things, and this happened it was bed time.

Perhaps, I'll try again tonght.

I'm far enough on the other side of my Ragnarok adventure to post about it now.  I loved this game, what a triumph!  It takes everything awesome (except the stats screen) from the first game and goes all-in on this follow-up.  I managed (no idea how) to let my sound system stretch its legs for the whole game while I sat 6ft in front of my 85" TV LOL.  The bass from combat finishers is exceptionally impactful, the whole house was vibrating at some points.  Good thing I don't have any rattles to contend with in the house!  As far as story goes, it's a great one with lots of twists and turns and emotional beats.  Everything you'd expect of a good follow-up that tracks a boy as he becomes himself.

Not now, but I've just placed my pre-order this morning for the PSVR2. I enjoyed my first VR experience with the orignal PSVR but it obviously had shortcomings. Whilst expensive the specs for the PSVR2 are very promising.

Bring on the 23rd Feb

It is a promising device. I have a quest 2 and reverb g2 and the PSVR looks as though it may out perform both. The issue for me will be content.

Content will always be a challenge for a VR system that is locked to one platform. Just something that I've accepted as I've been invested in the Playstation platform since the PS3 and don't want to enter into a new ecosystem. I consider myself a part time gamer so I don't need a lot of content to keep me busy with my limited gaming time.

I’m not currently playing a game because we are in the US for a month, living just outside Palm Springs, Southern California, on a home exchange. However driving around this area, away from the towns and cities in the Coachella Valley, I really feel like I’m in a game.

Earlier this year I bought the PS5 version of GTA5 and replayed it. The game map, although fictitious, is modelled on real-life places in California - mainly LA and south of there. A large part of the map was desert and barren mountains inhabited by rough-neck, poor and disadvantaged locals who live just inside and outside the law. That part of the map was obviously based on this area because it’s instantly recognisable and driving around here out of town is really weird because it’s exactly like I’m driving in the game. Very strange feeling. Life imitating art or something.
