One thing I disliked in the demo is that the fog of war regenerates every time. It makes it hard to tell where you have and haven't been.

I'm hooked on Stalker Anomaly with the GAMMA modpack.

I really enjoyed Stalker way back in the day, and just recently Youtube algorithms put this mod update on my visual horizon. Lots of graphical tweaking and a complete overhaul of weapon/armour crafting which requires looting and more looting. The AI can be brutal at times, reminding me of Tarkov to a degree, and don't go exploring without food or water and expect to live. Oh, and the random emission storms...... The first couple of hours are a bit difficult, but once I got an idea of how to repair a weapon, upgrade my armour and find shelter things got a bit easier. Looking forward to Stalker 2 even more now.

OG valve custom skin for my steamdeck - made me feel nostalgic and I have been putting some hours into Half-Life 1 again and bought the black mesa standalone game to play through after this.

We have been overseas for three months and get home this weekend. I’ve missed my PS5 and one of my first things to do will be to shoot over to JB HiFi and pick up a copy of Hogwart’s Legacy. I understand it’s very good.

Keen to see comments from anyone who’s playing it.

As someone else mentioned the combat starts interesting but becomes repetitive. It's a large game you'll enjoy it I expect. Not a Potter fan but enjoying this game so far. It's a little grindy in places but still good fun
3 months without a gaming device seems awful. I am hoping a ps5 slim comes out soon as I find travelling with the ps5 a pita.

This is what handheld devices are made for. You lose some eye candy but the portability more than makes up for it

I game on my phone but I wouldn't be happy to be limited to that for 3 months.

I don’t play games on my phone at all. A switch or steam deck/hand held pc is a much better experience for games and can be docked on to a tv.

Doom Eternal on PS5.

Sort of like it but in a week of playing I can’t finish the first level so it’s getting tedious. Their idea of easy and mine are not in alignment.

I’ll give it a few more days but if it doesn’t click for me I’ll delete it and move on.

I have finished the main story of God Of War Ragnarok on my PS4 Pro.

I am going to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt "Game Of The Year Edition" on my Xbox Series X.

I have never played the game before, so do not know what to expect. It has got very good reviews.

I want to play Star Wars: Jedi Survivor which is out on Friday but have discovered that it will not be on Game Pass yet.

It most likely will arrive there someday though, as did Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Replaying Horizon Zero Dawn, New game+ trying to get to 100% this time, then Still trying to get thru Skyrim - that seems to go on a lot longer than Horizon or God of War :)

I played the Burning Shores expansion for Horizon Forbidden West.  It's short and the map isn't huge but it's a good expansion.  Unfortunate that you can only play it once you finish the main campaign in Forbidden West.

One dont simply "get thru" skyrim 😂 I have thousands of hours on skyrim and still not done, its the game I return to the most and has the most distractions of any game I have played. I start one quest only to end up with 10 more by the end of the one.

Then you start adding mods and its just gets bigger!
