I was going to get a Belkin AC Wireless Router. It is not a combo, so I am going to need a modem. What is a good modem that will kinda "future-proof" for the next year, two or three? (especially with UFB along the way...)

D-Link preferably as they are easier to "bridge" and set-up, but all options will be considered.

Thanks.

With UFB you won't need a modem as this is provided with the service. You definitely want the Daraytek Vigor 120 now in full bridge mode. Also, make sure whatever router you get has FULL IPv6 support.

This is asked an answered a few times here. The consensus is if you want a standalone ADSL2 modem to bridge to a separate router, get a DrayTek Vigor 120.

This modem won't future proof you. In the future if you want faster you will have to go to VDSL2 or UFB. VDSL2 will require a different (more expensive) modem and from what I understand UFB doesn't require a modem at all, it plugs straight into your router.

Yes, the Belkin AC Wireless Router does have full ipv6 support.
