Trying to use my phone (N95) to connect laptop to internet. Vista is OS. Nokia PC Suite has One Touch access Wizard asking for the following info
Acess Point
Username
Password
Additional init commands

I can connect phone to internet no problems and it just connects, no settings needed.
What do I need to put in the above to get things working?

Thanks,

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

A list of Vodafone NZ APNs is available in the Vodaone forum as a sticky post.

Vodafone NZ does not use username or password.

APN www.vodafone.net.nz

Please make sure you are on a data pricing plan before using phone as modem or you could get bill shock!!!

Yep got a data plan for while I am away on holiday. Trying to use std modem over BT but I cant connect, get message "modem may be in use or not configured." Do I need to put in some sort of init string?

Hey Peejayw,

Just got a data plan today and sorted this out on my end.

I'm connecting using Bluetooth Dial-Up connection. All I had to do is set up the connection to call *99# do not enter a usename or password. No problems here - have you tried this?
