Hi guys, have posted this on the Netgear forums and thought I would give it a go here as well.

I hope someone out there has as answer to this. I purchased the X4S to replace my 3300v2 but for some reason it has refused to recognised my ADSL connection. I have tried the setup wizard but it cannot find any signal and also tried the manual setup with no success.

I have done multiple resets to clear out all setting before I try again but just keep getting the solid amber light, yet when I connect up my 3300 I get the net straight away so there is no question the signal is there.

I haven't struck this with any Netgear device before and am completely frustrated as this is not a cheap piece of kit.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I am using 2 Degrees (formerly Snap).
