Hi,

I want to use a Mikrotik to do a fairly simple config (as a starting point) and while I've managed to get much more complicated things done before, I can't seem to set this up:

Eth1: 192.168.178.2/24, only other device on this subnet is 192.168.178.1 (VDSL router that does NAT etc.)

Eth2: 192.168.1.1/24, DHCP for this subnet

I want the rest of the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet to be able to reach 192.168.178.1 and the internet. What should I do as a starting point?

Without really understanding any part of your setup that's a confusing question - but I'm assuming you have a static route set?

You'll need to teach 192.168.178.1 (your VDSL router) about 192.168.1.0/24 (Route for 192.168.1.0/24, next hop: 192.168.178.2)
