freitasm,

i may have stumbled on the culprit with my intermittent (well, not really intermittent coz whenever i cant connect to my from my PDA to my NOTEBOOK via BLUETOOTH i would end up re-installing because ive never was able to re-connect to my NOTEBOOK. had to re-install)

looking at my HARDWARE DEVICES on the NON-PLUG & PLAY DRIVERS category, when my connection is ok, i will find these 3 drivers.

- bluetooth port client driver
- bluetooth protocol stack
- bluetooth serial driver

but when i am unable to connect, i only find this

- bluetooth serial driver.

so, would you know, my friend, what happened to the other drivers? what made them disappear?

i know it will be a matter of time before my connection problems will re-occur so im hoping we can catch the culprit and throw it to the trash! :)

btw, would changing the dongle to LINKSYS perhaps, be a viable solution?

thanks.
