I'm not seeing PIA or Nord VPN mentioned there at all which I guess is a very good thing?

I'd think those two would be two of the biggest wouldn't they?

there is a lot of dodgy VPNs out there

 

i would never use one where you have to download software to use it

 

or use a free one

 

if you need a VPN make your own or use dns4me

It's a brilliant ruse to  give the customer/target what they want and exploit their trust.

 

A while ago, I suspiciously wondered if a government could get people to willingly install spy software in the guise of a popular app.

 

My pick was VLC but I'm sure any dodgy network traffic would have been noticed by now.
