Hi team,

I’m looking to wall mount a Dynamix 9RU network cabinet that I just got off TradeMe, unfortunately I can’t seem to find any instructions online.

The cabinet only has two tiny holes in the top corners that aren’t really accessible from within the cabinet and I’m not sure they’d be able to support the cabinet’s weight, so I’m not sure whether I’m missing some additional wall mount accessory?

What have you guys done in the past?

Many thanks for your help in advance!

Cheers
Clemens

The light cabinets just hook on to appropriately spaced screws in the wall. Heavier hinged units can usually be lifted off at the hinge so the rear section can be attached to the wall. They have large holes for bolting to the wall.

What's the full model of the cabinet? If you don't have it, have a look through this list and let us know which one it is.

My one had a metal bracket that it hooked onto, and then some screws to anchor it onto that bracket.

It’s not on your list, but I think it’s this one:
https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CHADNX0106/Dynamix-RWM9-9RU-Wall-Mount-Cabinet-450mm-Deep-600

I’m not at the office now, but I seem to remember two hinge parts on one side – so maybe the counterpart of that needs to be mounted to the wall?

Interestingly the PB Tech website also mentions a rear mounting bracket.

Hi team,

Below is a photo of the back of the cabinet and the hinges on the side. I think I'll just drill two 10G bolts into the wall (masonry outside wall) and will hang the frame of the cabinet on those.

Thanks for your help!

You are missing the portion which bolts to the wall. The cabinet should be connected to it via the hinges

I think you might be right! Given I've got it off TradeMe and that the hinged back will probably cost more than what I paid for the cabinet, I'll probably just bolt it to the wall. 😄
