Apologies if a dumb question but I have a spare D-Link EoP unit that I could use as a second "injector" ...... providing it doesn't screw up the already tempremental powerline setup.

I use Cat 6 reticulation wherever I can but of necessity have a number of WAPs running off powerline and wondered if dual injection was of benefit or dis-benefit or downright counter-productive?

Thanks & regards,

Surely that would just cause a switch loop and a resulting broadcast storm

If paired separately then you could do, but if they are on the same power network then it may not really help that much with lan to lan transfers because of collisions on the powerline physical layer. I really wish that there was MoCA. Should help with lan to internet tho if you put a set on each seperate powerline circuit so that its not crossing breakers.
