I'm using vista business on a rather flash setup but it'll drop my LAN connection when my transfers start getting up to the 1000Mbps limit.
I'm not thinking it's not a hardware problem because i've just installed a new mobo and the same thing happened with the previous motherboard. Everything else is the same - previous mobo got replaced becuase of this issue in some respects!
Basically, i'll be transferring a large file between my PC and our server and I know it's hitting close to 1000Mbps as I have been using a bandwidth monitor to test the LAN speed and it's constantly transferring over 950Mbps, then it just stops and vista says limited connectivity.
The only way to get the LAN going again is to restart the PC or disable the LAN from within networking then re-enable.
Doesn't matter what drivers I use, whether it's the latest from MS, from the mobo manufacturer (Gigabyte), or using the Realtek generic drivers.
Thoughts?
