I can connect my Jabra BT 250 and Thinkpad but have a stability issue:
it works very well at home but not at the office where the connection is cut half of the time, in periods of half a sec to 2 secs. It's not the strength of the signal because it works past 10 meters.

There is a Wifi booster at my office. Could it be the culprit? (I thought it was different frequencies).

Beside being able to use my cute Jabra at the office, I'm quite curious to learn about that problem.
Thanks

Could be the Wi-Fi booster. Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are in the same 2.4GHz range. In general they don't interfere, but with a booster around. Also check for DECT 2.4GHz cordless phones. And microwave ovens.

Thanks Freitasm.

I assume there are no DECT 2.4GHz cordless phones in the UK. And microwave oven is generally off. So it could be the booster.

Otherwise, there is something else in the building that makes my wireless bicycle speedometer run crazy. No clue what it can be but the signal must be very strong. Is there any other industrial appliance or machinery that can create interferences in the 2.4Ghz zone?

The 2.4GHz band is unregulated, free to use. It's widely used by medical equipement, and other types... Hard to say without knowing the environment.
