I must be a sucker for punishment, I've probably taken on more than I can chew but anyhows, here goes.

Firstly, How do I setup a Unicast transmission on my LAN?
I have a CCTV camera (IP 10.10.10.10) which allows me to Select unicast and I can define two ports, one for video and one for audio.  I'm not bothered with the audio though.  I'm using video port 1024.
I am wanting to stream the cameras video into my PC which is running Windows XP.  I would like to use Media Player to view the stream.
My switch is an ETHERWAN 96000 series.  It is IGMP enabled.
I've disabled the Windows firewall for testing purposes.

So whats the principle here?  What do I need to do to Unicast?

Will I be using HTTP, RTP, UDP or RTSP to stream?

unicast is just normal connect to port on ip address and thats it.. nothing to do with IGMP.. IGMP is multicast..

If you have no idea of the protocol the camera sends out but you could try conneting to it via vlc

ie vlc http://10.1.1.1:1234 or try from windows media player... the same address..

What does the manual say?
