Hi there.

When I get the latest firmware for this from the NZ site (www.dlink.co.nz) it comes down with a bin file extension. In both IE8 and Firefox.

However, when applied,  it doesnt like that and says to supply  a correct file name (file I am trying to use is AUS_DSL-2740B_2.32b336.bin)

Pretty sure I have a C2 model by the way.

Any suggestions please?

What is your router model number?
If we have one at work I might get some time in the next couple of days to test out the firmware upgrade and send you a settings file for your port forwarding.

I have had a few D-Link's lately that need a firmware upgrade as they seem to forget their port forwarding rules after a couple of hours.

had the same issue and figured out wehat the problem was. I looked through the javascript of their horrible web interface and for some reason the BIN file MUST be in a folder on your computer called "config" so create that folder, dropt he file in and try and upload it again.

If still no joy let me know as i saved the instructions at home im pretty sure the folder name had to be config PM me if it doesnt work and ill check it out for you.

Flamer.
