Ok so here it goes. I recently changed my internet connection to wireless. So now i have a desktop (xP) that the wireless router (thomson) is connected to and internet works fine through the ethernet connection. My laptop which is what i am trying to connect to the wireless network is having problems.

I orinally couldn't connect to the wireless router because it had problems renewing the IP Address when i clicked the repair button. I have managed to somehow sort that out (through Assigning a Static IP) but now it says i have a strong connection yet i can not view any pages on the internet.

I have looked all over the internet trying different things from turning on and off the router, turning off the computers. turning off firewalls etc. releasing and renewing IP's.
I have also tried writing crap into DOS eg. netsh reset logs etc (which i don't fully understand)

So now basically i have tried everything i can find on the net with no luck. In fact, now i can't get my standard wired internet to work as it wont pick up any websites either. So basically i will post all the info that comes up in DOS when i type ipconfig /all. I am not a geek so to speak so i have limited ability when it comes to understanding how computers work so bare with me :)
