I have a Zoom Class 1 Bluetooth PCMCIA Card. I am trying to add support for High Quality audio so I can use the Card with my Bluetooth Stereo Headset. (If I am correct, this is called the A2DP Profile.) I have been informed by Zoom Tech Support that the Card does support this feature, but the software does not.

I've read threads on this forum about using WIDCOMM bluetooth updates to fix this kind of problem, and also how to get around certain problems when doing so, but where do I get the driver(s) themslves that I will need?

Welcome to Geekzone. you are correct, you need the software to support A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). The drivers must be supplied by the manufacturer though, due to licensing and copyright.

From my correspondence with Zoom, it's unlikely that they will help me. However, I read somewhere that drivers from other sources can be obtained and used. Is this true?

Probably... You can find some resources around the Internet with instructions on how to do it. We don't have the instructions here.
