Every time I attempt to ADD a device in Bluetooth Utilities, I get a pop-up window that says Bluetooth Not Ready. I followed instructions from a previous string to download the latest Toshiba Bluetooth stack, which I did; however, I am still not having success. When I did dowloand the Bluetooth stack, it kept asking me for a driver, which I do not have for this headset device, so I am unsure if the Bluetooth stack download is then 100% effective.

The Bluetooth device - a Logitech Mobile Bluetooth Headset - did not come with any software and there are not drivers to download from their website.

I will appreciate any suggestions to make this device work on my Toshiba Tecra M4, but also on the Toshiba Portege M200-S838. Many thanks.

The headset will work if your laptop has Bluetooth. You are not saying anything about an external Bluetooth adapter, so I assume you are tyring to use the built-in one?

Here is the problem: some manufacturers say "Bluetooth ready" meaning that there's a slot to add the Bluetooth module, and the software is pre-loaded. It doesn't mean there's Bluetooth on the laptop.

I have a Toshiba M205 Tablet PC and it's the same. I bought a Bluetooth PC Card to use, because the laptop is "Bluetooth Ready" but does not actually have Bluetooth.

Check the specifications of your model.

Thank you for the info. Of course I am disappointed this means I have to buy additional equipment, but if it will make things work, no problem. Many thanks for your response.
