I reset to factory default a Linksys WAP54G from a WiFi network to access the setup page and change the password.
I logged in with default, changed the IP address to what I want, but when plugged back into the same spot on the network I can't log into it or ping its IP address.
I only changed the IP address to 192.168.200.202 which is what it was when it was working.
All 3 LEDs light up Power Act Link when switched on and cable in.
Can anyone tell me why I can't find it on the network ?

Try 192.168.1.1 it seems to reset back to there sometimes.

I can always get it back to factory default 192.168.1.245 fine, but when I change to the 192.168.200.202 I lose it.
So is this the subnet mask ?

I think my problem is getting to the gateway, after I change the IP address and reconnect to the network in it's original location.
I have a LAN to WAN set up.  The WAN is the .200 range.

I did the whole process with a 2nd WAP54G and it worked, I have reset the IP address onto the .200 subnet and plugged in and I can ping it and log into it from across the LAN.
Somethings up with the first unit I've been trying...

FIXED!
I found a link to this software which can reset the MAC address, which I discovered had reverted back to factory default 00:90:4c:91:00:01 which would not work.
Luckily I had the original MAC address and the software worked, I also upgraded the firmware to latest version.
