hi,

i have been struggling alot with this issue pls help me


have got a blutooth usb dongle
that is not working,
i installed the dongle ,in device manager it say's it's working fine,but i am getting the message that "usb device not recognized".though it say's "ur new hardware is installed n ready to use" that sound's contradictory
i have even tried reinstalling the os--no luck
my usb port's are fine as all my usb devices work fine with the same port's
the same dongle work's fine with other pc's except mine
i have win xp sp2,motherboard-asus A7N266-VM with AMD atholon 1700+

pls help me if u have any solution for this issue i have been struggling with it for tyhe past 4 month's

This kind of problem indicates the OS can't find the correct drivers for this hardware. Have you installed the Bluetooth software that came with the adapter before inserting it?

yes , i did that but noluck
 
i have been wandering all around the internet

n tried almost all step's like

uninstalling my usb root hub's,
unchecking the option's for usb power mgmt,
reinstalling the os--different os's
reinstalling the driver's
i have a billionton usb adapter

i followed ur site n notice some people facing same
 issues with the same hardware/software configurations
is it a problem with my hardware isn't it compatible
