I have our home PC and modem linked to a Netgear Wirless N Router (WNR834Bv2) and over the past week our home network has disappeared and we can no longer get access to our wireless network on any of our laptops.
The wirelss network is still discoverable on my Galaxy S, my sons iPod and our new Samsung TV.
Have tried rebooting the modem, turned off the router, checked the router settings etc, but not getting anywhere.
Anybody out there got any ideas?

Had this exact issue on my Netgear Wireless N router just last night. My iPhone and iPad were able to use the router just fine but my laptop couldn't.

I powercycled the router and it made no difference. Then I logged in to the router and chose the reboot option from inside the web interface and that seemed to fix it.

Try adjusting the wireless settings to only use 20MHz channels rather than 40MHz, no assurance that its the issue, but commonly found to be a problem

Or reset the router to factory default and setup again from scratch?

Time to find a new industry!

Tried the first two options with no luck, so will try the reset and what happens.
Thanks for your help so far.
