I have just installed a TP-Link Wireless-N modem/router and using speedtest.net I am getting a ping of 45 and d/l of around 10-12Mbps over the wireless connection.

Doing the same thing on my tablet gives a ping of 150 and d/l of about 3Mbps with similar results on the phone.

Is this normal?

Thanks.

Every chipset, device and situation is different... Having said that, is this tablet 3G connected? If so, are you sure the test is not going over the mobile network?

No, its Wi-Fi only so I am sure its going over the wireless home network.
Thanks
