Try this

As a test to make sure its working with your ISP, try manually assigning the DNS settings to your PC. If it works, then its not a problem with your ISP.

Setup physically on computer:
http://www.unblock-us.com/how-to-set-up/
Follow the instuctions, u need to determine if its a setup problem with your router and/or your ISP.

I'm with telecom and don't have a problem.  ARe you using a wireless or wired connection.  If wireless can you connect your pc via a wired connection for testing?

Your not running any vpn software on the pc?  Have you tried setting your pc's dns as Braaiguy suggested?  You need to make sure you do it on the wireless adaptor and reboot after changing it.

My router is setup as a dhcp server so yes try that. (Did not realise this in one of my previous posts)

I have all the devices on my network (mac addresses, including Ps3 and Roku) assigned to static IP's

Also make sure you dont have any other dhcp servers on your network, ie a second router for instance.

You probably going to have to do it like this because the Roku does not support advanced IP settings so u can't configure DNS on the device itself, it has to be supplied by dhcp

Dont touch the PPOE and pptp stuff

Ok, I got it working but that created another problem :(

So what i did is disabled dhcp server that is enabled on the router. And unblock-us started working. My laptop is using wireless and the PC is using an ethernet connection.

The laptop starts working and the PC seems to get no internet connection through the cable... Whats wrong now :(

Sounds like you have a ip conflict.  Have you rebooted both the pc and laptop?

Also before you plug your Roku in have a read of the below

GUYS!! :D I fixed it all!! Thank you so much everyone for all your help. I finally got the UNBLOCK US working,

Now I will work on getting the roku working, I believe i will need a vpn to sign up for the roku account, so yea :)

Just wondering for the people who are currently using roku and netflix..
- Does a normal NZ debit card work for roku and netflix?
- Do i need to sign up to roku using vpn or is unblock us fine?

any tips ? :P

That is all!
Once again, thanks everyone

Glad to hear.

- I found a normal credit card works for Netflix/Vudu. But for Hulu+ you need an overseas CC. Search the forums, ther is one particular NZ debit card that works which I am now using for Hulu+ subscription.
- Signing up for roku works over unblock-us. You do it when u plug it in and connect it to the internet. I think u need to go onto their site too, can't remember. But unblock-us should take care of it.

PS: I already had existing Netflix and Hulu+ accounts before setting up the Roku on unblock-us. So not sure if its going to work creating the accounts over unblock
