Better to buy from a local company that guarantees you aren't getting rubbish. Buying direct from china will just as likely get you counterfeit or bad quality. The good cables need sufficient gold plating on the pins otherwise you might as well buy Cat5e. Since you are only getting a few cables, you cant expect super cheap prices without something being cheap quality.
why not just make your own buy a few 1mtr cables and chop them to length and put an plug on the end you can get 10mtr cat6 cables on trademe real cheap
Hi, I still cannot see why you need cat6 patch leads, its one thing to have 50m of installed cat6, but for a 300mm patch lead?
Further, please explain what you cannot do on cat5e that you cannot do on cat6 for domestic purposes. Only minor one I can think of is single cable HDMI and 10GigE upto 37m, and if you were to do that then those few services can be patched with cat6 if cat5e patch leads failed to work.
We had this argument with schools, the SNUP program cables schools with cat6 requiring class E performance (250MHz), for various reasons we were providing cat5e patch and fly leads. Schools started to protest and we demonstrated that a 50m permanent link (installed solid cat6 cable) with a 1m cat5e patch lead and 2m cat5e fly lead still gave a channel performance that passed Class E even though the patch leads were only cat5e/Class D rated.
thanks but thats cat5e, as i said I don't want cat5e. you can try and convince me to get cat5e all you want, but at the end of the day i will never buy it. only after cat6.
