Well it helped a little bit in that it's telling us we still have a "limited connection" but we can at least access the internet now. Except the coverage is limited to the room with the router and my wife's access died (on her smartphone).
So we've switched back (yet again) to the old router and we'll get a local IT expert in tomorrow so he can access the situation in person and advise.
Thanks for all your help though, it's much appreciated. I think we were heading down the right path, but something is still a bit wonky.
By the way, I deleted the image with the addresses, etc on - was a bit worried by your comment!
