Re Delphinus's response, I agree, the best solution is something like a mikrotik or Edgerouter that is without wireless mounted in the cabinet, and a decent wireless AP like a UniFi etc mounted in a optimal ceiling location to provide good coverage, however Raj has already purchased a router with presumably decent wireless so wants to utilize that.
