OK, so still nothing. Tried all suggestions. Firestick doesn't affect anything until it's plugged into the TV. TV is not connected to the router either by cable or WiFi, so it seems that the problems only occur when there is data flowing from the FS to the TV. Strangerer and strangerer...
You say you tried something but never provide experimental results. What did the wifi analyser show, i.e., what exactly happened to the access point transmissions??
And can you see transmissions from the Firestick's own AP?? - if so how wide is the channel???
Have you tried measuring firestick bluetooth signal strength with Bluetooth Signal Meter app? Wonder how many dBm it gives. Also how far is the router away from TV/firestick?
We don't have an analyser capable of looking for the BT signal. If you know of one that is free (or inexpensive) that would be great. The router is about a metre or two away from the TV, but it's the fact that the WiFi drops as soon as the FS is plugged into the TV that's getting me. If the FS is powered on and not plugged in, everything is fine
