UPDATE - still cant see the AP's IP address on my router...

IME if its blinking white, its trying to provision so it will show on any controller on the same network with its actual IP, if its not got one then 192.168.x.20 (cant recall x) - if you're seeing nothing then I would be guessing a failed ethernet interface. No link light on the AP, and if you dont have lights on your switch to show speed it might be seeing a load and lighting up because its doing 10 megabit since it sees a load but no negotiation of higher speeds.

Get another AP, and this one may still show up as adoptable wirelessly if the radio side of it is still all good, in which case you could keep it and use it as a repeater.

** Purchased a new AC Pro **

- same issue, so decided to pull my hair out again

- Seems Eth1 (physical numbered #2), on the UltraHub is dead...anything plugged into it does not work (originally I did swap ports but the issue below perhaps was the culprit)

- Swapped ports, still no go but then decided to "yet again" unplug everything and add back one by one..... FOUND THE ISSUE.

- ISSUE was the Hue Bridge... as soon as that was removed from a switch (switch also had alarm panel, NAS), I started to see the new AP show up everywhere

** up and running again, everything else (including the Hue Bridge is back working) **

- with the previous AP, I'll keep and use it / swap out an older 2.4Ghz only Unifi AP which is at my mothers house

- Likely sell or give away the older 2.4Ghz UAP once I swap over

- Now having fun 'discovering the controller settings' again...will think about moving to the community cloud key one day....

- As for the Vodafone Ultra Hub, its a dog... ive always had issue bringing up the log in page....aka right now im unable to bring that up unless i power cycle the unit... so for now I'm not concerned about the Ethernet Port 2 (Eth1) being dead as the other two ports feed into seperate switches and for now I dont need anything else plugged in until the kids grow older and need ethernet in their bedrooms

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE ADVICE, I will now slowly skool up on SSH and read the router guide a few times...... oneday I'll sort my router.

Goose.
