Ive installed aprox 10x the TP-Link Powerline kits at various homes.
The main issue was kids uplugging them & then getting calls that its not working
I would see them as an option of last resort , when cables cannot be run .
One thing to look out for, some home wifi AP's & extenders etc have inbuilt DHCP server , just so the home user can initially set it up.
If the device doesnt detect a DHCP server , it will turn on its own DHCP Server , ON THE ETHERNET PORT
Ive have had a few wifi AP's cause DHCP Server conflicts after a power cut .
