You say your modem- wireless router is currently in your bedroom and I'm assuming the blu-ray player is in the living room.

Why not just re-locate your modem-router to the same room the blu-ray pleyer is in use the wireless to link to your PC?

Accessing the internet from a line extension socket - like in a bedroom - usually causes a significant reduction in connection speed. Find your master socket, probably in the living room (?) and plug in the modem there. Use the wireless connect the computer in the bedroom and all your other devices as your currently doing.

my PC is a desktop and does not have wireless card in it so cant move modem from there .

How do i find master socket ? sorry dont know much about these sockets. all phone sockets in all room look exactly same to me no visual difference.

wireless cards are $20-$50 these days...soo cheap. I guess it depends on whether there is room or available slots in your PC.

Do you have access under the house? You were really keen to avoid that question, so if you have a concrete floor or something then maybe find which room is closest to the outside telecom entry. Or just go for the living room option since its quite convenient anyway. Should be easy to drill through a wooden floor as long as you check where are the joists and electrics. The carpet will hide the hole. Then just put an RJ45 jackpoint at each end of the cable and connect all wires to the "A" colours on the jack.

Time to find a new industry!

Well at least that proves you dont currently have a central splitter, so its quite feasible to keep the modem in living room and run ehternet through to wherever you need it.

Time to find a new industry!
