Oh nonono, I was just asking the question. I have only ever installed the faceplates once and that was with the mounting boxes that attach directly to the wall so all kosher there lol.

Rather than building a house, we are moving to a new office and was thinking that we could save money on the fitout if we did it ourselves over a weekend (48 ports planned). The thing is, with the internal walls, I don't even know if they use many studs which could limit the placement options, hence why I was asking about going straight into the GIB. I don't think it would be that hard to run as its a suspended ceiling but don't know about the internal walls.

May end up getting an electrician to do it TBH. I also think we should put our cabinet on a structural wall as we will probably have 50kg of gear in there.
