Use wifi analyzer app on your phone to walk around and check the signal level.

When you are near the unit, you should get a signal of -50 or higher. If you are in another room, it will be -60 or lower.

We get calls about this stuff all the time and its almost *always* the neighbours. Remember wifi can typically reach about 150 metres with no obstacles.

For what its worth, I have a cheap quad copter and this copter sets up its on wifi AP with a similar name.

Sorry have packed away the copter at the moment so can switch on to see what the actual wifi network name is however I had to install an app called HM UFO on my phone to then use with the copter.
