Its a problem with iptables on OpenVPN machine having a masquerade rule set. You would need to modify the rule to only apply to traffic not destined to your local networks.

I didn't see what your current router is, but have you considered running a pfsense box? Your openvpn server would be managed via pfsense making your routing requirements easier to set up.
