Right now about 10 counting a managed switch and wireless access point. But easily more than 20 if I pull my work laptop(s) out of the bag, switch on a couple of old devices that still work and start all the VMware Fusion and KVM VMs on a couple of machine.

169 according to my Unifi controller. And that's with a bunch of IoT gear not connected...

18+ wired and wireless here, but I have been installing more wired jacks including via an ethernet switch
I'm a lightweight - about 21 (quick count off the top of my head).
45 devices - Sonos devices, smart TVs, computers, NAS device, mobile phones, Nest & Ring devices, an assortment of webcams, etc - all on my Google Wifi controlled system.
5 devices on Wi-Fi, 6 wired
So I'm already seeing that these devices that only support 16 or 32 devices, especially ones with small NAT tables, aren't really suitable for modern households.

6: two Broadlink Pro, two phones, Roku, laptop. Sometimes a tablet or work laptop. Everything else is on Ethernet.
isn't the 32-device limit of the hg659 for both wired and wireless combined?
not sure how many devices i have, but i'd probably run into that limit.
Hm,
2 x iPad
2 x iPhone
1 x SurfacePro
1 x PC (W)
1 x AppleTV (W)
1 x TV (W)
1 x STB
1 x PVR (W)
1 x Echo Plus
1 x Sensibo
1 x Harmony Hub
1 x Wemo
a couple of broadlink power switches/powerboards. I'm not actually sure those are connected to the router. I don't use the RM Mini anymore, and Alexa controls them OK through the Echo Plus.
1 x PVR
1 x TV
1 x Chromecast Ultra
2 x iPhones
2 x iPads
1 x Printer
1 x Airport Time Capsule
1 x iMac
2 x odds & ends
______
12 normal total
but goes up as guests arrive etc
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Handle9:
16 devices certainly isn’t suitable anymore but for 80% of households 32 devices would be plenty. Most families would have 2-4 PCs, a couple of smart TVs and 4-10 mobile devices. 32 devices gives plenty of headroom.
This group isn’t a ”normal” group of users.
