SpartanVXL: Like, the hg659 is not overly crap. It’s pretty good for what you get. The way I had it working for when I hosted Killing Floor 2 servers was to have an entry for each range of ports pointing to my pc’s specific static IP, save everything and restart the router. Check config again, host server and test with mates.

You can even assign the forwarding by MAC as the huawei will list/remember devices, don’t even need to set a static if you dont want to

It will only let me do it by mac. I would much prefer to do it by ip but it doesn't seem to be an option?

Have you got access to another router you can use to test?

From what I remember its a bit convoluted adding devices, they’re defined as entries and you have to ‘add’ a new device defined by its IP?

There was also the issue of ghost entries, where a device would end up being listed multiple times but have wrong/old IP. Deleting them was a pain, I think it was easier to save a config and reset then reload.
