patchface: I’m with spark.

Then do yourself a favour and just get the Spark smart modem as well as a mesh node instead of multiple routers. It’ll give you far better wifi and is a cheap and easy way to improve your network.

Hi, so from what you say you are two independant folk, just using the same BB account?

There are better ways to do what you are doing, but not with ISP supplied routers. If it were me I would put a Mikrotik or Edgerouter in the Garage configured with two seperated LANs for each of you. aAd then a couple of Inwall Unifi APs, that advertise both SSID's and give you access to a wired LAN port at each AP, my 2c

Thank you all for the help, I ended up going with this solution and I am very happy with the result, installed a couple of Unify APs in the lounge and bedroom and went for the edge router X and a POE switch.

I was able to fit the router and switch in the box in the garage perfectly and now have a complete cable free solution.

I did consider the mesh but I don't see any benefit of having wires running from the wall when ethernet is allready routed throughout the house.

I now have perfect coverage and better performance.

Thankyou @cyril7 for the suggestion
